I recently completed a transaction with your firm. There are a few things I feel you need to know about your agent Vicki Griffith.
I first met Vicki in mid September of 2008. I was visiting friends in Carolina Shores and mentioned how nice it would be to have a place of our own in Brunswick County. As it turned out my friends had made plans to visit "Hank and Vicki" on the weekend. After we arrived, I found out that Vicki was a licensed Real Estate broker. We talked about my (our) goals concerning housing, likes and dislikes, and what we might be looking for in the realm of Real Estate.
I immediately felt confident that I had found the correct person to help me find something. As time was short, and I would be leaving for home in two days I gave my E-mail address to her, thats all she needed.
During the course of the following months my wife and I vacillated from one idea to another, beach house, condo, single family, town house, building lot, and back again. Vicki always helped us as we were unsure of what we wanted. Her level of patience was enormous. As I said we vacillated. She sent listings almost on a daily basis.
Finally in mid October a lot came up for sale in Carolina Shores. We stopped vacillating, the building lot was the correct answer.
We committed to try to buy the lot. Vicki got busy for us, she did her "comps". We had information we needed to negotiate a fair price. She was there to help us every step of the way. We needed a survey--- Vicki sent us three names to choose from. We did so. Vicki handled that for us. The phone calls--everything. The survey was there for the closing. I never spoke to Mr. Long of the survey company, I didn't have to, Vicki handled it.
There was a mix-up with my bank in sending a $5000 check, earnest money deposit, Vicki got that straightened out.
We needed a lawyer for the closing, Vicki obtained one for us.
In closing Vicki Griffith was more than just a good Real Estate Agent---she was a friend. She went above and beyond to help us close the deal. We couldn't have done it without her. We are extremely pleased with her efforts, and, should the need ever arise again, we would undoubtedly use her services again
Very Truly Yours,
Robert J. Maloney
